Tyler Lampe Legacy Student-Athlete Scholarship

This scholarship is in honor of former student, athlete, coach, and teacher of Seminole County Public Schools, Tyler Lampe, who lost his battle to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in October of 2021. The Tyler Lampe Legacy Student-Athlete Scholarship is established to celebrate the vibrant life and enduring legacy of Tyler Lampe, a passionate advocate for athletics and the invaluable life lessons it imparts. This scholarship is dedicated to recognizing and supporting graduating seniors from Seminole County Public Schools who embody Lampe's spirit, showcasing excellence in both academics and athletics.

 

 

Lampe knew the meaning of hard work and recognized the rewards of commitment. He valued the relationships he had with his coaches, players, and teammates. Lampe believed athletics was foundational in forming leaders and developing character. The intent of this scholarship is to recognize two outstanding student athletes with $500 each, while also honoring the legacy of Coach Lampe.

Scholarship Criteria:

  • Be a graduating senior from a Seminole County Public School

  • Participation in high school sport(s) for a minimum of three years (including senior year)

  • Minimum 2.75 GPA

  • Plan to attend a two or four-year college or university 

  • Coach Recommendation Letter (upload below)

  • Personal Statement explaining how the applicant embodies the qualities and spirit of Tyler Lampe (upload below)
